There are thousands of known species of bees in the world- the honeybee being one of them. These little buzzing buddies can seem a little scary or even a nuisance to some people, but they do serve an important purpose. Domesticated bees, maintained by beekeepers, aid in pollination of crops, and of course, honey production and beeswax, which are both widely used from food items to product manufacturing.

The Honeybee colorway was worked up using 3 colors- a soft brown, and slightly muted yellow, and a lighter than normal application of black, so as not to appear too harsh next to the brown and yellow on the yarn. The colors were applied to a 100% Fine Superwash Merino Wool yarn base and is oh so soft and fluffy. The perfect yarn for hats, scarves, sweaters, and blankets. 

- 100% Fine Superwash Merino Wool

-4 ply, Worsted Weight, 219 yards, 100 g

-Hand wash in cool water with mild soap. Dry flat. 

*If using more than one skein in a project, it is highly recommended to alternate between skeins every few rows as there will be variations between skeins due to the hand dyeing process. 

**Darker colored, highly saturated yarn, may have some color release when washed. Highly recommend to hand wash again before starting your project. Mixing wash with distilled white vinegar or a small amount of rubbing alcohol will help. Helpful to add color catcher sheets to your wash.
