Roses come in assorted colors, all with their own meaning. You may give yellow roses to a friend or family member as a sign of appreciation. Pink roses to someone that you admire and want to let know you have interest in them. White roses are great for decorating weddings and other special occasions, as they represent purity and new beginnings. But red roses, red roses signify passion and romance and that’s why they are the flower of choice given on Valentine’s Day and with wedding proposals.

Red Roses is a colorway we created inspired by those thorny, fragrant flowers of love. Red roses come in varying shades of red, so we used 3 different hues of red in this colorway along with a touch of black. The yarn used is a 100% Fine Superwash Merino Wool, Worsted Weight Yarn good for making scarves, hats, gloves, blankets, sweaters, and throws.

- 100% Fine Superwash Merino Wool

-4 ply, Worsted Weight, 219 yards, 100 g

-Hand wash in cool water with mild soap. Dry flat. 

*If using more than one skein in a project, it is highly recommended to alternate between skeins every few rows as there will be variations between skeins due to the hand dyeing process. 

**Darker colored, highly saturated yarn may have some color release when washed. Highly recommend to hand wash again before starting your project. Mixing wash with distilled white vinegar or a small amount of rubbing alcohol will help. Helpful to add color catcher sheets to your wash.
