The Strength and Dedication colorway was inspired by not only the colors we wear, but also the characteristics nurses possess that enable us to do the work that we do. In this colorway, we have a dark navy, medium blue, bright aqua, and spearmint to represent the various shades of blue that nurses wear. There is also a light red speckled on, representing the compassion and empathy we have for our patients.
The colors were set on a fingering/sock weight yarn with a 70% Superwash Merino/ 30% Nylon blend, perfect for making a cozy pair of socks for a nurse’s tired feet or a scarf or wrap to keep them warm on the cold hospital unit.

70% Superwash Merino Wool / 30% Nylon
4 ply, Fingering/Sock Weight Yarn, 100g, 437 yards
Handwash in cool water with mild soap. Dry flat.
*If using more than 1 skein in a project, it is highly recommended to alternate between skeins every few rows, as there will be variations between skeins due to the hand dyeing process.

**Darker colored, highly saturated yarn, may have some color release when washed. Highly recommend to hand wash again before starting your project. Mixing wash with distilled white vinegar or a small amount of rubbing alcohol will help. Helpful to add color catcher sheets to your wash.
