Colors can evoke certain feelings and moods. They can represent different things, having their own symbolic meaning. Pink is known to be the “girly” color, youthful, playful, innocent. Pink also represents compassion. The Compassion Colorway was worked up using 3 different colors of pink, ranging from light to medium/dark. Fingering/Sock weight yarn was used for the base and this colorway will make a nice soft color for your socks, shawls, and even baby items. We could all use a little more compassion in our lives, so pick up some skeins and spread some love with your next project.
70% Superwash Merino Wool / 30% Nylon
4 ply, Fingering/Sock Weight, 100g, 437 yards
Handwash in cool water with mild soap. Dry flat.
If using more than 1 skein in a project, it is highly recommended to alternate between skeins every few rows, as there will be variations between skeins due to the hand dyeing process.
*Can request this colorway on a different yarn base/weight by placing a special-order request.
**Darker colored, highly saturated yarn, may have some color release when washed. Highly recommend to hand wash again before starting your project. Mixing wash with distilled white vinegar or a small amount of rubbing alcohol will help. Helpful to add color catcher sheets to your wash.
