Chilled to the Bone-

Growing up in the Midwest, wintry weather comes with the territory. Once November comes around, you just know to be ready for the cold temps and to bundle up. Sometimes we get lucky and have a mild Winter season, but most often than not, we have cold, blistery weather. The kind of weather that makes your eyes water and your nose hairs freeze. Weather that makes your fingers cold, even when wearing gloves and freezes your toes inside your boots when you're shoveling massive amounts of snow out of your driveway. Weather that drops a 1-inch blanket of ice all over your car making it impossible to open your car door. Weather that simply chills you to the bone. The Chilled to the Bone colorway is our interpretation of that bitter cold weather that so many of us can relate to. Here we have a chilling blue that blends into a silver color, both representing the ice and frost of the winter season. Then we poured on some purples and pinks that kind of give the feeling of how your skin changes color when exposed to sub-zero temps, you know, those colors that are trying to warn you to get back inside and out of the cold. The colorway was worked up on a DK weight yarn. The perfect weight yarn to make your next set of warm and cozy mittens/gloves, hat, or scarf to protect against the frigid winter temperatures.

- 100% Fine Superwash Merino Wool

- 4 ply, DK Weight, 246 yards, 100 grams

- Hand wash in cool water with mild soap. Dry flat.

*If using more than 1 skein in a project, it is highly recommended to alternate between skeins every few rows, as there will be variations between skeins due to the hand dyeing process.

**Can request this colorway on a different yarn base/weight by placing a special-order request.

***Darker colored, highly saturated yarn may have some color release when washed. Highly recommend to hand wash again before starting your project. Mixing wash with distilled white vinegar or a small amount of rubbing alcohol will help. Helpful to add color catcher sheets to your wash.
