Shocker! I love yarn, and cats. I love the many different breeds and their wonderful coats of fur. From the deepest black, to the purest of white, I get a lot of inspiration from our feline friends. This particular colorway is inspired by the British Blue Cat. The British Blue is a shorthair pedigreed version of the British Domestic Cat. They have stocky bodies, thick fur, and that famous “grin”. In this colorway, you will see a light to medium gray representing their dense coat of fur, and then a bright orange representing their mesmerizing eyes. The yarn base used is a fingering/sock weight yarn, which is “purrfect” for socks, gloves, sweaters, and shawls.

4 ply, Fingering/Sock Weight Yarn, 100g, 437 yards
Handwash in cool water with mild soap. Dry flat.
*If using more than 1 skein in a project, it is highly recommended to alternate between skeins every few rows, as there will be variations between skeins due to the hand dyeing process.
*Can request this colorway on a different yarn base/weight by placing a special-order request.
**Darker colored, highly saturated yarn, may have some color release when washed. Highly recommend to hand wash again before starting your project. Mixing wash with distilled white vinegar or a small amount of rubbing alcohol will help. Helpful to add color catcher sheets to your wash.
