Luna, unlike Hermione’s logical and fact driven views, has an open take on life. A kind and carefree nature, Luna is a true and honest friend. With her quirky sense of fashion and odd taste in reading material (The Quibbler anyone?), she earned the moniker of Loony Lovegood from her classmates. Nonetheless, sorted into Ravenclaw (me too! 😊), Luna is intelligent, witty, and wise. She becomes a member of Dumbledore’s Army and even helps Harry find a hidden horcrux at Hogwarts- Rowena Ravenclaw’s Diadem. Eccentric, Brave, and a true friend- you gotta love Luna Lovegood.

Our Luna colorway is a light and fun addition to our Harry Potter Inspired Collection. The yarn has a light, pale yellow base that is lightly speckled with hues of pink, blue, and green. The yarn base is a fingering weight that’s perfect for making socks, shawls, scarves, and any other lightweight item of your choice.

80% Superwash Merino Wool/ 20% Nylon

Fingering/Sock Weight, 2 ply, 100g, 399 yards

Hand wash in cool water with mild soap. Dry flat.

If using more than 1 skein in a project, it is highly recommended to alternate between skeins every few rows, as there will be variations between skeins due to the hand dyeing process.

**Darker colored, highly saturated yarn, may have some color release when washed. Highly recommend to hand wash again before starting your project. Mixing wash with distilled white vinegar or a small amount of rubbing alcohol will help. Helpful to add color catcher sheets to your wash.
